National Store Network

Strength In Numbers | United We Thrive

The PackageHub Business Center® (PBC) national store network is a non-traditional franchise model that unites the best-of-the-best Retail Shipping Associates (RSA) Premium Members into a nationally-branded network. This network will help entrepreneurs like you take your business to the next level and profit from new opportunities in the digital economy.

To become a PBC member, store owners must first meet the network requirements, successfully complete the membership application and approval process, agree to the terms of the PBC Franchise Agreement, and pay monthly membership fees.

The RS Advisory Council

Why PBC Is The Future For Independents

As we built PackageHub®, the RS Advisory council was there every step of the way — helping to shape the future of the industry. These 20 dedicated store owners come from all corners of the country and their locations run the gambit from urban and metro to suburban and rural. Without their input and unfiltered feedback PackageHub® would not be where it is today. Watch the video to hear why these veteran independent store owners think this model is the future for all independents.

Solving the

Final Mile/Final Yard

A unique advantage of being owner-operated is the outstanding customer experience our stores offer. The PBC team plans to actively educate customers, carriers, and online retailers about our service advantage and use it to monetize e-commerce package handling to the benefit of member stores.

Plans are in the works for a universal package receiving service that can eliminate porch piracy, save carriers a truckload in residential stops, and deliver a seamless “final yard” experience.

As a PBC member, your store can become the local HUB where neighbors “get all their stuff” and “get all their stuff done” while helping make e-commerce both economically and environmentally sustainable.

* For stores (PBC Franchisee's) that voluntarily withdraw from the PackageHub® Franchise, there will be a $500 reinstatement fee to rejoin.

PBC Franchisee Only Discounts

PackageHub® has built relationships with the key carriers, vendors and service providers who sell directly to the industry. Our network of PBC's represents extraordinary buying power to these providers and we negotiate pricing and discounts that you simply can’t get on your own.

PackageHub Returns™

POWERED BY

PackageHub Connect™

PackageHub Connect™ is a technology solution that creates a chain of data from customers and stores that allows PackageHub® to provide valuable information to our partner suppliers. It is the powerhouse that provides the foundation for dozens of future PBC programs. Best of all, it was created, owned and operated wholly by PackageHub Business Centers®. We create the program- we control the marketplace.

Consolidated Returns Program

PackageHub Returns™ is a product created and developed so that PBC franchise stores can offer a simple and complete returns experience to e-commerce merchants similar to the Amazon returns program. For the consumer — it is a label-less, package-less process that provides them with a pleasant transaction and enables faster processing of returns from the merchant.

For eCommerce merchants it is a customer service touchpoint with a professional, friendly and properly trained store that reduces the risk of fraud and provides them more information, faster so that returns can be handled more efficiently and with less overall expense.

For the PackageHub® store it is an opportunity to streamline service and compensate the store for these everyday transactions instead of accepting drop-offs for free or having to extract small fees directly from the customers which can create a less than pleasant interaction.

NOTICE: Participation in this program is REQUIRED by all PackageHub® Franchises.

What is a Consolidated Return?

The process of consolidation is simply combining multiple returns from multiple customers into an individual shipment being sent to a return logistics provider such as Pitney Bowes.

At the point of interaction, the store personnel will accept an unpackaged item, scan a QR code or customer provided label and provide the customer a receipt. Each return is separated and labeled before being staged for the end of day consolidation. Before the carrier pickup, the PBC franchise will then physically transfer items from the staging area to a consolidated box, complete the process in the POS and apply the carrier label to the sealed box.

The box is then picked up by your regular carrier, transported to the Reverse Logistics Facility and their staff handles the rest.

Program Benefits

This program, developed and owned by PackageHub Business Centers®, provides a higher compensation rate for every eligible return, reimburses the store for materials used and even includes the drop-off compensation from the carrier for the consolidated box.

  • Faster, simpler, friendlier interactions
  • Higher compensation for QR code returns
  • Compensation for eligible Pitney Bowes labels
  • Reimburse the store for materials
  • Carrier Drop-Off compensation

Compensation

The new program includes the $.50 drop-off compensation rate for eligible customer-supplied shipping labels. But for each QR code processed in the consolidation workflow, the compensation rate doubles to $1.00 each. That’s right – you will get more money for less work than before! The reimbursement for the poly bag, when used, is $.15 and the reimbursement for the consolidated box is $3.75. So, on a single box on the shelf at carrier pickup time a store could have 20 customer items inside for a total drop-off payout of $27 plus the drop-off fee paid directly by the PackageHub®.

What You Get..

  • $.50 for eligible PackageHub Returns™ labels
  • $1.00 for PackageHub Returns™ QR Code labels
  • $.15 for every 12x16 poly bag used
  • $3.75 for every consolidation box
  • $.85 for UPS Drop-Off box (Based on UPS Rewards Tier)

For Example...

  • 20 Returns @ $1.00 each
  • 20 Poly Bags @ $.15 each
  • 1 Consolidator Box @ $3.75
  • $.85 for UPS Drop-Off box (Based on UPS Rewards Tier)

NOTICEPayment will be sent by PBC 75 days after the end of the quarter for the completed period.
