A Late Addition to the Retail Shippers EXPO

HAZMAT Transportation Basic Awareness Training will be presented by the US Department of Transportation/Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (USDOT/PHMSA) at the Retail Shippers EXPO in Las Vegas—August 16, 5-6 pm.

The course will be given by a member of the Hazardous Materials Safety Assistance Team.

HAZMAT BASICS / SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE

The Basic HazMat Transportation Awareness overview will provide you with the tools and information necessary to identify a possible HazMat Shipment.  Learn how to create a “best practices” program for your retail shipping business to identify specific contents and packaging that might contain hazardous materials.  Students will receive a DOT Certificate that meets current compliance recommendations.

This training is being offered at no charge to all Retail Shippers EXPO participants; however, class space is limited and is being offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
